A California-based pizza restaurant is adding another North Texas location. Mountain Mike’s Pizza is now set to bring its pizzas, wings, oven-baked sandwiches, and salads to Melissa. An interior finish out is needed on the space at 3031 Washington Dr., Melissa, TX 76121. Construction could wrap up by the end of 2023, according to a recent project filing.
The Mountain Mike’s Pizza menu offers classics such as pepperoni or cheese pizza, or you can create your own or try a specialty pizza—BBQ at the Ranch or the Chicken Club, for example. Classic and boneless wings, plus sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts are options.
The Melissa location will be owned and operated by Steve and Adam Zeigler from Zeigler & Son, LLC. The Zeiglers also own the Mountain Mike’s Pizza location in Lewisville, as well as several Jersey Mike’s restaurants in Frisco and Plano.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza has been in business for more than 40 years and is known for its crispy, curly pepperonis, Mountain-sized pizzas, and dough made fresh each day.
What Now Dallas earlier reported that Mountain Mike’s Pizza has signed three multi-unit Texas development deals and plans to open ten more restaurants across the state before the end of 2024. A Fort Worth location near Texas Motor Speedway is set to open later this month, and another Mountain Mike’s Pizza is planned for Fort Worth near Saginaw, both through other franchisees.
The family-friendly pizza brand has over 250 restaurants in multiple states including Oregon, Arizona, and Utah.
