A location combining Cold Stone Creamery and Planet Smoothie is opening at 4010 N Collins Street in Arlington around August, franchise owner Vijay Calyampoondi comforted with What Now Dallas.
A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation outlined plans for construction of a first-generation ice cream and smoothie store, the product of a new cross-promotion effort from Cold Stone Creamery. According to the company, the combination “will capitalize on cross-promotion and customer synergy to build steady business to maximize visibility for both brands.” What it means for customers? Their favorite icy treats under one roof.
Cold Stone makes ice cream fresh in every store, churned and mixed with the customers choice of candy, cake, fruit, or nuts on..well, a cold stone. The menu also offers over thirty signature creations, a variety of sundaes, and pre-packed pints for customers to enjoy in store or at home. The store also offers a selection of ice cream cakes, cupcakes, and cookie sandwiches perfect for pleasing a crowd.
Planet Smoothie will bring its fresh smoothies featuring real fruit to the location, along with protein-packed options, bowls, energy smoothies, and meal replacement blends.
