Mountain Mike’s Pizza Expands to North Texas

Diners can savor 20-inch pizzas full of crispy pepperoni, wings, and more at this restaurant.

A California-based pizza restaurant is moving into North Texas. Mountain Mike’s Pizza will open near Texas Motor Speedway in early 2023.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza has several franchise agreements in place to develop the brand across the Lone Star State. Franchisee Varinder Basati will own the location at 3488 TX-114, Ste. 100 in Fort Worth. Basati told What Now Dallas he plans to open two other locations in the next two years.

The brand is known for its crispy, curly pepperoni and 20-inch Mountain-sized pizzas with dough made fresh each day. The menu features signatures pizzas such as Mt. Veggiemore, Pineapple Chicken Luau, and Garlic Tuscan. Diners can also enjoy classic or boneless wings, salads, sandwiches, and desserts such as the Pizza Cookie or Cinnamon Dessert Pizza.

The brand has been making “pizza the way it oughta be” since 1978. Mountain Mike’s Pizza currently has about 250 locations in the U.S.
