Wayback Burgers is opening a new location in Allen. Coming to 380 E Bethany Dr, the fast casual chain based in Cheshire, Connecticut, will occupy suite 130 in a strip center that houses a nail spa and dentist office.
The forthcoming location will be the 14th in Texas for the brand. It is expected to open summer 2022 and is being brought to the area by local franchisee Zalak Patel.
Per a company press release, the 1,937-square-foot restaurant’s dine-in experience will be lighter, brighter and elevated. There will be a modernized kitchen that will be visible to guests through glass windows and a pass-through. Furnishings will include a variety of seating options, including upholstered banquettes, booths and floating and community tables.
When the lease was signed in February, Patel said Wayback’s rapid growth and expansion was what initially attracted him to the brand.
“As a cooking enthusiast, I have always appreciated the creativity Wayback Burgers brings to its menu, especially with its seasonal limited time offers and I can’t wait to share the Wayback Burgers experience with the Allen community,” Patel said. “…The support systems to help guide us along the way and the opportunity for owning additional locations in the future is what assured us that Wayback Burgers was the right path for us.”
Wayback Burgers offers fresh beef burgers cooked to order that can come as a single patty or classic double patties. A fan favorite is The “Cheeeesy” – four slices of melted American cheese and two beef patties sandwiched between an inverted, grilled and buttered bun.
Beyond burgers, Wayback also offers cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, Impossible Burgers, chicken tenders, and salads. Sides include fries, onion rings and mac and cheese bites. Its famous hand-dipped milkshakes are made with Blue Bunny® ice cream and milk.
