A cafe specializing in breakfast and lunch is planning to open a couple of locations in North Texas. Starwood Cafe currently has about a dozen restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex—Frisco, McKinney, and Farmers Branch, to name a few.
One new location for Starwood Cafe is set to open in new construction along Hwy. 78 between the Public Safety Building and Fuel City in Wylie. Groundbreaking on the multi-tenant retail development kicked off this past April, according to a City of Wylie Facebook post. A recent project filing lists the address as 1808 N State Highway 78, Ste. 108 in Wylie. Construction could wrap up in the fall of 2024.
A second location, according to another project filing, lists a Starwood Cafe at 5000 E Interstate 30, Ste. 100, Fate, TX 75189. Construction on the first-generation restaurant space in Fate is tentatively set to wrap up this fall. There’s no word on when either of these proposed locations might begin serving local diners.
The Starwood Cafe menu features a variety of options. The breakfast selection is extensive and includes omelets, Belgian waffles, crepes, skillet dishes, and other options. For lunch, diners can grab a burger, salad, sandwich, or chicken fried steak. Coffee, tea, juice, sodas, and espresso beverages are available to wash it all down.
