A recent project filing has one Pickleman’s location popping up at 4020 West University Dr., Ste. 400 in McKinney. The filing states construction could wrap up on the 2,500-square-foot space in the spring of 2024, but there’s no word on when the restaurant could open to the public.

The tenant listed on the filing is Jesse Murphy, who posted about a year ago on the Prosper Speaks Facebook page that he and his wife plan to open a Pickleman’s in Propser at the southwest corner of Preston Rd. and Frontier Pkwy. At the time, they hoped to open sometime this year. What Now Dallas reached out to Murphy for an update but did not receive a response by time of publication.

Pickleman’s has just over 25 locations across Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and a couple of other states with Texas now on its radar. The brand is a go-to destination for diners who want high-quality food in a casual environment.

The toasted sandwich menu features an extensive list of flavor combinations including the Cafe Club, Italian Beef, and Asiago Chicken. A variety of pizzas are offered including the Pickled Cuban, Pepperoni, and Buffalo Chicken. Guests can also grab soups, Mac & Cheese, and a variety of salads.
