Liam’s, named after Khan’s first grandchild, will feature the finest cuts of prime-aged American and Wagyu beef, as well as Tomahawk, Dino ribs, seafood, pasta, chicken, and vegan dishes. In addition, there will be weekday lunch Chef Specials and Prime Rib Specials on Fridays only. “We are also proud to offer Halal Steaks for our Muslim friends,” Khan said in a statement. “These high-quality steaks are prepared in a way that meet the Muslim dietary law, while maintaining tenderness and flavor.”

The renovated, historic building is 5,600 square feet and now offers a restaurant experience rich in design as well as flavor. The black textured walls, dark oak wood floors, gold etchings, crystal chandeliers and deep leather booths, elevate the entire feel from the moment you walk through the door. “We want the customers to experience luxury meeting flavor,’ Khan says. “The gold details we feel reflect the richness of our family’s culinary heritage. Liam’s is a fusion of three generations weaving diverse backgrounds into a tapestry of excellent dining.”

The vintage and black and gold bar at Liam’s will offer weekday Happy Hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with half-priced selected appetizers by Executive Chef Juan Sanchez. The full- service bar will offer premium spirits, signature cocktails, as well as wine offerings that will feature the best vintages from France, Spain, California, and Italy. The large bar area sits adjacent to a private dining area.

Khan, Chef Sanchez and Hilario Casas, the General Manager, have over 100 years combined in the restaurant business. In 2004, the trio set out to make their own mark in the industry and opened RJ’s Mexican Cuisine in The West End. For 20 years the restaurant has made its home there and has earned its spot on “Best Of” lists throughout the city. In addition, Chet’s Dallas and 3 Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails are also part of Khan’s restaurant group and enjoy their homes within a block of RJ’s on Market Street. “We chose The West End in the early 90’s and have stayed because of our proximity to the Dallas Museum of Art, The Dallas World Aquarium, Sixth Floor Museum, Perot Museum, Nasher Sculpture Center, Klyde Warren Park, and The Dallas Convention Center,” said Khan. “The rich history of museums and attractions make this area the perfect spot where conventioneers and locals come to meet,” Khan adds. “The addition of The Liam’s Steakhouse to our portfolio is a tribute to our family, tradition, and the pursuit of culinary excellence.”

The Liam’s Steakhouse is located at 1713 N. Market Street in Dallas and is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The soft opening hours will be standard Monday hours.
