Hudson House is expanding in North Texas with a recent announcement that the concept will open at 11700 Preston Rd., Ste. 880 in Dallas. The restaurant from Vandelay Hospitality Group specializes in East Coast comfort food with a focus on oysters, cheeseburgers, and the “World’s Coldest Martinis.”
The Hudson House menu features oysters and the Seafood Bouquet, which includes 18 chef’s choice oysters, 8 shrimp cocktail, and seasonal accoutrements. Entrée salads, fish tacos, the Cheeseburger, Lobster Roll, and House Specialties such as Maple Planked Salmon are offered. Weekend brunch is also served.
The new Hudson House space at just over 4,000-square-feet will get new lighting, finishes, and other renovations before opening to the public, according to a recent project filing. Hudson House now serves diners at several Dallas-area locations and on the West Coast in Beverly Hills. The newly planned Hudson House could open in Dallas in 2024, according to a recent CultureMap Dallas article.
A Fort Worth spot is also in the works, as stated on the Hudson House website. The new Fort Worth location at 4600 Dexter Ave. is listed as coming soon. Hudson House’s first Houston location is also coming soon.
Other brands from Vandelay Hospitality include Drake’s, D.L. Mack’s, and Slider & Blues.
