Conceptualized by James Beard Award-winners Chef Tyson Cole of Uchi fame and Pitmaster Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, the menu at LORO Addison will combine Texan and Asian influences, highlighting LORO’s smoked meats such as Char Siew Pork Belly, Smoked Prime Bavette and Oak Smoked Salmon, and sides including Crunchy Sweet Corn Fritters, Sesame Rice Noodles and fan-favorite Green Curry Hush Puppies. Diners can choose to pair their meal with craft beer, batch cocktails or a LORO boozy slushee.

“We are excited to grow our LORO footprint in Dallas, following the welcome and support we’ve received in our East location,” said Chef and LORO partner Tyson Cole in a statement. “Addison is such a vibrant area with exceptional dining, being at Prestonwood Place puts us in the center of it all. We can’t wait to be a part of the community and show Addison how to LORO.”

LORO Addison will be led by Texas native, Chef de Cuisine Arturo Hernandez. Hailing originally from El Paso, Chef Hernandez received his culinary training at the Texas Culinary Academy. Hernandez has continued to refine his skillset as his career has taken him all around his home state, including his most recent experience as Executive Chef of Restaurant Openings for Punch Bowl Social in Austin. He has been a valued member of the Hai Hospitality family for more than a year, and is ready to bring his knowledge, expertise and energy to his new homebase at LORO Addison.

The restaurant will feature a menu known for its culinary creativity, relaxed atmosphere and boozy slushees, fusing Southeast Asian flavors with traditional Texas BBQ. To celebrate the opening, LORO Addison will be giving away custom Yeti tumblers to the first 100 guests each day during the first five days of opening. Additionally, the team at LORO Addison will be hosting a social media giveaway, where one lucky guest will get the chance to cook a brisket with Chef Hernandez.

LORO Addison will sit on the southwest corner of Prestonwood Place, along Montfort Drive at 14999 Montfort Drive, Dallas, TX 75254. The 5,000 square foot interior space was designed by the Hai Design Studio and documented by IDStudio4. The space will seat approximately 140 guests inside, and another 140 outside. It includes a bar, an expansive outdoor waiting area, and a large deck for patio seating. LORO Addison will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m, and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., with Happy Hour Monday through Friday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m featuring exclusive menu items including Brisket Tostadas, Thai Sausage Fried Pies, and more.
