A wine bar featuring a rooftop patio is opening soon in Downtown Prosper. Prosper Wine House is tentatively set to hold a soft opening in late September, according to the brand’s Facebook page.
Owners Mike and Trina Lopez share a love for wine and wanted to open their own wine bar. They are both from Texas, and their wine bar will “exemplify the warm hospitality and good company native to the Lone Star State,” according to the Prosper Wine House website.
The two were able to purchase the land at 209 West Broadway St. through a partnership with Prosper Economic Development Corporation to construct the wine bar, which will feature a rooftop patio and an 1,800-square-foot event hall. According to the Prosper Economic Development Corporation website, the new wine bar will feature lounge seating and intimate tables, as well as a lively atmosphere upstairs on the rooftop patio. Private rooms are also available for parties, meetings, and other events.
Prosper Wine House will feature a variety of wines including white, red, and sparkling from Texas, California, Oregon, and other regions. Prosper Wine House will also serve beer and shareable bites.
