“As a longstanding WaBa Grill franchisee, it’s an honor to introduce WaBa’s signature bowls, proteins and more to the Lone Star State,” said Raygoza in a statement. “Guests have enjoyed WaBa Grill in several Western states for nearly two decades, and we’re looking forward to growing the brand legacy and becoming the go-to option for better-for-you food throughout Texas.”

As WaBa Grill celebrates expansion into its fourth state, with more openings on the horizon, the brand’s commitment to bold flavors and healthy food continues to be the main attraction. WaBa Grill has long been known for its better-for-you menu packed with fire-grilled proteins, healthy grains, and fresh vegetables. The variety of protein choices, include fresh, never frozen chicken, marinated ribeye steak, wild-caught salmon, jumbo shrimp, 100% plant-based Plantspired steak and organic tofu. Guests may customize any entrée with a variety of flavorful sauces, including the WaBa sauce. With hearty and healthy options ranging from bowls, plates, salads and Boom Boom Tacos, WaBa Grill serves prepared-to-order food guests can feel good about eating. WaBa Grill also provides everyday value for guests, with affordable options including its Value-Bowl Combo for under $10 and Family Meals. Orders may be placed online, through the WaBa Grill app, or any of the brand’s third-party delivery partners.

The brand is on pace to open more than ten locations in 2024 and is expected to surpass the 200-restaurant milestone before year’s end. To grow its footprint further throughout the Western U.S. this year, WaBa Grill will expand its existing markets in California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
