Hilario operates multiple units in California but he told What Now Dallas the restaurant is “excited to bring a healthy food option to Dallas.” Until then, WaBa is available in California and Arizona.

WaBa’s motto — “Eat Smart, Be Healthy” — is supported by a menu of low calorie, low carb, and high protein options. Customers can choose from rice-based bowls loaded with their choice of meat and vegetables, or tacos, dumplings and salads.

According to the restaurant’s website, WaBa is “the place for healthy food options on-the-go.” It says they use only fresh (never frozen) chicken, wild-caught salmon, organic tofu, jumbo shrimp or ribeye steak. Additionally, meals are never fried or microwaved and are always free of artificial additives. Learn more at wabagrill.com.
