Chef Tiffany Derry announced she will be launching Italian concept, Radici, in Farmers Branch late this year or early next. The announcement came in an Instagram post from T2D Concepts, sharing a feature from Dallas News.
Chef Derry is the co-founder of Roots Southern Table in Farmers Branch and has staked her claim to culinary fame with appearances on Bravo’s Top Chef. Radici is the joint product of Derry and her partner in T2D concepts, Tom Foley.
A departure from the southern fare she’s famous for, Radici — which means “roots” in Italian — is reflective of Chef Derry’s own culinary roots. According to Eater Dallas, “Italian cooking is where Derry cut her teeth professionally, working in the kitchens of Italian restaurants in Texas.”
In the T2D Instagram post, the restaurateurs wrote, “Big things are happening here in Farmers Branch!…We are so excited to grow T2D concepts into other cuisines.”
