Located near the heart of the community at 5981 High Point Dr., the new restaurant features a large dog-friendly patio and a southern interior where vintage comfort meets clean modern lines. Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar was designed by VP of Culinary and four-time James Beard semifinalist Eric Gabrynowicz. With scratch-made staples – like Tupelo’s Bone-In Fried Chicken, Tupelo Shrimp and Grits and Asheville Hot Fried Chicken with Mac-n-Cheese Waffles – plus craft cocktails and mocktails, Tupelo Honey is the brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour destination of Las Colinas.

The new location celebrated its upcoming opening in true southern style with an exclusive Friends & Family event, bringing members of the community together for a meal to remember. Chef Gabrynowicz served guests staple menu items – including Biscuits for a Cause, which funds Tupelo’s employees in need with $575,000 awarded to date, and its New Orleans inspired Roast Beef Debris – alongside paired drinks by Beverage Director Lindsey Farris-Felty – like Peach Don’t Kill My Vibe Sangria crafted with sweet peach, pineapple, Tupelo’s house-made honey liquor and blue ridge bubbly sparkling wine, and the So Fresh & So Green, Green cocktail, mixed with organic Prairie Gin, house-made green juice and St. Germain.
