Since its launch in 2010 Thirsty Lion Gastropub has been expanding with 12 locations in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Oregon.

Proudly calling itself the “Restaurant Capital of the U.S.” Addison has more than 200 restaurants within its 4.4 square miles. A 1975 election to allow liquor by the drink led to the expansion of businesses and restaurants. Thirsty Lion joins a community locals have long seen as a culinary center for DFW. Inside, the design showcases wood finishes mixed with modern decorative light fixtures. Pops of rich color layer with bold pattern and texture.

The Gastropub has 7,021 square feet of interior space including a 16-seat bar. Outside, guests will enjoy a 1,273 square foot patio. The Addison location will also showcase an open-air kitchen and a large craft beer selection. Total indoor seating capacity is 248 persons and outdoor seating capacity is 94 persons.

Thirsty Lion’s culinary commitment is to provide a variety of options that feature scratch-made, multi-cultural cuisines, with an emphasis on local ingredients and bold flavors. A seasonal fresh sheet, in addition to its regular full menu, focuses on the changing season’s offerings, featuring unique ingredients including fresh seafood, quality meats, and local vegetables and fruits. Dishes include the Gorgonzola-infused Gastropub Burger; Bacon Wrapped BBQ Prawns; Beer Battered Fish & Chips; Gochujang BBQ Pork & Kimchi Fried Rice; the Seared Ahi Salad; Baja Fish Tacos; and Traditional Scotch Eggs. The menu also features shareable appetizers, salads, sandwiches, fresh seafood, half-pound gourmet burgers and steaks. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.

Thirsty Lion features a centerpiece bar with a large selection of craft cocktails that highlight combinations of fresh fruit purees, juices, and premium liquors. Guests will also enjoy a wide variety of beers on tap, many of which are local to Texas, offering a beer on hand for every palate as well as an extensive wine list. The menu features modern takes on classic cocktails as well as signature drinks like their Grapefruit Basil Martini, Blood Orange Margarita and Old Fashioned.

In addition to a daily lunch and dinner experience enhanced by quality audio and visual sound system, Thirsty Lion celebrates Happy Hour every day from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. with special discounts on pints, cocktails, wine, and a food menu starting at $7.95. On Fridays and Saturdays, an additional Late Night Happy Hour runs from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Weekend Brunch includes Irish Whiskey French Toast, Southern Fried Chicken Benedict, Spanish Chilaquiles as well as Mimosas and Bloody Marys by the bottle.

Thirsty Lion Addison joins four other existing Texas locations at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Glade Parks in Euless, Grandscape in The Colony, and Preston Hollow Village in Dallas.
