“We’re really excited to open the garage doors and bring Sickies to Fort Worth,” said Sickies Garage Partner Scott Upton in a statement. “We’re ready to fire up our creative burgers and be part of this welcoming community.”

The Fort Worth location spans nearly 7,500 square feet with a seating capacity of 200 guests, two patio areas for outdoor dining, televisions throughout to catch all the sports action, and an expansive bar area to grab a quick lunch or enjoy happy hour. The garage-décor theme continues at this location with two full-sized vintage vehicles hanging from the ceiling, and license plates and other auto memorabilia adorning the walls.

Sickies Garage Fort Worth adds to the other Sickies Garage locations in Bismarck and Fargo, ND; Sioux Falls, SD; Rapid City, SD; Bellevue, NE; Las Vegas, NV; Kissimmee, FL; and Irving, TX.

Fans in North Texas will find a selection of 50 burgers at the new location, highlighted by the Sickies Burger (stacked with bacon, egg, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and onion rings). The menu also features an expansive selection of 50 beers, wings, veggie burgers, appetizers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and hand-spun boozy milkshakes.

Sickies Garage Burgers & Brew at 6770 Fossil Bluff Dr. and will be open daily from 11 a.m., 10 a.m. on weekends.

The idea of Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews was created when in the early 2000s, a group of like-minded friends would meet up to tinker on their projects – motorcycles, cars, or to just talk shop. Grilling at the garage sparked a new avenue for creativity, crafting experimental burgers with unusual toppings that family and friends were excited to try. Testing the newest burgers at the garage, which quickly became known as “Sickies Garage,” was often the reason to play hooky from work by taking a “sickie.” These friends just wanted to spend more time together on their projects at the garage than they did at work. All who met at the garage were eager to have their own special burger and quickly the offering grew into an arms-length list. Something truly for everyone, by everyone. So, in 2012 these friends opened their first full-service restaurant in Fargo, ND and Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews was officially born.
