Round Two, the newest entertainment destination in North Oak Cliff, brought to you by Another Round founders Alicia and Kendall Spence, will officially open on July 19 just south on Sylvan Avenue from their popular mini-golf concept.
The retro arcade and gaming venue will not only offer a full service cocktail bar, but a snack bar featuring fare from local deli, Edylicious as well. Edylicious is a locally owned tea room that offers catering services to area companies by serving gourmet sandwiches and salads.
Located in the old Flashback Retropub venue, Round Two will build on the fun collection of arcade games and retro console games, with the addition of two gaming bays, a virtual reality area, food offerings, and weekly gaming tournaments. With over 50 arcade games, 20 board games, and more, there is never a dull moment at Round Two.
Much like its sister concept Another Round, Round Two will feature cocktails that offer a modern take on classic drinks along with a selection of cocktail shots. Additionally, guests can enjoy a build-your-own brown bag lunch anchored with gourmet sandwiches from local deli, Edylicious, in addition to gaming themed snack kits.
Games include arcade classics such as Pac Man, X-Men, Ninja Turtles, Frogger, NBA Jam and The Simpsons. Additionally, Round Two will be outfitted with gaming consoles including Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo64, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Cocktails include libations such as Peach’s Parasol – bourbon, apricot liqueur, peach purée, lime juice, agave, a hibiscus tea floater and a mint garnish; Hyrule Mule – Jameson orange, ginger liqueur, lime juice, agave, ginger beer and a mint garnish; Star Power – TWF Reposado, blood orange liqueur, Cointreau, lime, agave, topped with champagne and an orange garnish.
On expanding their footprint in the West Dallas neighborhood, Oak Cliff residents Alicia and Kendall Spence said in a statement, “Similar to Another Round, the mission of Round Two is to to meld a classic activity with its newer form to bring generations together. We will continue focusing on top tier hospitality and interactive experiences for our guests.”
Round Two will have a partnership with Another Round through a monthly membership offering that will allow patrons to enjoy both venues for $40 per person for unlimited mini golf and arcade entry.
An entry fee will be required to visit Round Two of $5 per person aged 21+ and $10 per person under 21. The gaming bays are rentable, online or walk-in, for $15 per hour. The VR area is also rentable at $10 per hour.
In honor of its grand opening, on Wednesday, July 19th, Round Two will offer a full day of free cover and free arcade games so the community can come and check out the new space.
The new venue is located at 821 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208. The arcade and gaming venue will be open seven days a week and will become 21+ after 7pm nightly.
