Dillas Quesadillas (pronounced Dill-uhs), a North Texas-based fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in cooked-to-order quesadillas, announces the grand opening of its West Frisco location in mid-November 2023. Located at 2055 W. University Dr., at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 380 and Hollyhock Road, the latest installment marks the restaurant’s second in Frisco and ninth overall across North Texas and Louisiana.

The expansion into West Frisco underscores the brand’s dedication to providing outstanding food and service while meeting the increasing demand for its one-of-a-kind menu. The options include the Founder and the Lone Star and cheesy sides like Gorilla Fries and Gorilla Chips. For lighter fare, guests can create a Not-A-Dilla Salad, choose from the vegetarian options or build their own Dilla.

“We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our second Frisco location in less than five years,” said Kyle Gordon, owner and co-founder of Dillas Quesadillas in a statement. “The growth and expansion of Dillas is our number one priority as we set our sights to 2024 and beyond, and our success could not have been possible without our team’s hard work and dedication.”

The North Texas restaurant prioritizes making a positive impact by establishing connections with local schools in each of its communities. Ahead of its grand opening, Dillas has already forged strong partnerships with Prosper High School, West Grove High School, Panther Creek High School, and many others.

Additionally, Dillas is committed to nurturing small businesses, encouraging healthy living by promoting active lifestyles and balanced diets, investing in students’ educations and fighting hunger with longtime partner Minnie’s Food Pantry. Alongside volunteering time, Dillas allows guests the option to add .30 cents to each purchase by including a Minnie’s Meal at checkout. For every Minnie’s Meal sold, Dillas will match the donation, equating to two meals served for those in need.

“We have created and nourished important community partnerships since our first Frisco opening in 2017, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back even more to the city that has embraced us wholeheartedly,” said Gary Fontenot, operating partner of Dillas Quesadillas. “Our commitment to Frisco goes beyond simply offering our delicious meals; it is about creating memorable dining experiences and being an integral part of the lives of our valued customers. As we prepare to open our latest location, we are enthusiastic about developing new partnerships and making an even greater impact in Frisco.”
