The latest Daddy’s Chicken Shack added to the coop is locally owned and operated by Dale and Ashley Dahlstrom, a husband-and-wife team that is uniquely positioned to elevate the family dining experience in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Situated at 4717 Colleyville Blvd, suite 100, this marks the first location of the Dahlstrom family’s 20-unit agreement to open. The agreement was signed in late 2022 and details an even split of Daddy’s units across Texas and Colorado.

“We couldn’t be more eager to open our doors to the Colleyville community,” said Ashley Dahlstrom in a statement. “Daddy’s Chicken Shack provides a chef-inspired menu with elevated flavor profiles where everyone can find something they love. Whether you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, a quick afternoon bite or a family dinner, you’ll be able to curate the perfect combo to fit your needs. We’re all extremely excited, especially because this opportunity is something our family is involved in – from our growth in Texas, as well as developing locations in Denver, it’s really been a fantastic experience to have everyone be all-in. We can’t wait to continue down this path of growth with the Daddy’s brand.”

Joining the Dahlstrom duo is Director of Operations & General Manager Kevin Griggs, who has a decorated portfolio of business management under his belt. Griggs previously served as a General Manager for several other concepts, in addition to being a District Manager where he seamlessly oversaw the success of over 20 individual locations.

The official grand opening celebrations for Daddy’s Chicken Shack Colleyville will begin April 4th, starting with a ribbon cutting held by the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce at 4:00 pm. Other special offers go through the weekend and can be accessed using an official QR code provided by Daddy’s Chicken Shack. Promotions will include a BOGO chicken sandwich all day, half-off breakfast items in the morning, a free kids meal with the purchase of a combo from 3-6:00 pm, and a prize wheel featuring Daddy’s coupons, merch and more. Additionally, a face painter and balloon artist will be on-site from 3-6:00 pm for families to enjoy, alongside a guitarist who will be there from 6:30 pm to close.

“We’re thrilled with the high-level momentum being driven at Daddy’s Chicken Shack just a few months into 2024,” said Dave Liniger Jr., President of Daddy’s Chicken Shack. “It’s great to see more restaurants opening, and knowing how much excitement our Houston Heights location garnered, we’re confident that Colleyville will be another welcomed addition to Texas. We look forward to supporting Ashley and Dale as they gear up for their first opening and continue growing alongside us for many years to come.”
