Leela’s Wine Bar, the neighborhood wine and pizza spot with an emphasis on an eco-friendly wine program featuring wines on tap has reopened their original, Lower Greenville location after closing in July for renovations.

UNCO Co-CEO Elias Pope explains in a statement, “We have maintained the charm of the original Leela’s and updated it with warmer tones throughout the restaurant. Our back bar has also been refreshed taking elements from the newest Leela’s locations. It continues to be a welcoming space for our guests to relax and enjoy some delicious food and wine with friends and family.”

In addition to the revamp of the space, Leela’s has expanded the menu with a wider variety of wine, more appetizer options and their Roman style pizzas. New items are available such as the Dip Trio with hummus, boursin and pimento; Spinach Dip served with crostinis; Buffalo Chicken Pizza – buffalo sauce, chicken, chives and topped with ranch; Fig & Prosciutto – bechamel, fig jam, prosciutto, and arugula; and Hot Honey – spicy marinara, pepperoni, jalapeños, and hot honey drizzle.

Leela’s can now accommodate more guests with a previous capacity of 79 that is now 114 guests and will now stay open until 2am on Friday and Saturdays. The cocktail lounge upstairs also from UNCO, Milli, has tripled capacity with the ability to host 161 patrons versus the previous 49.

Pope says, “We are happy to reopen the original Leela’s and have another option for our guests to go to in addition to the Leela’s Uptown and Leela’s Trophy Club locations.”

Leela’s Greenville is now reopened for happy hour, dinner and an all-day weekend menu.

Hours of Operation are:
Monday – Thursday 4 pm – 10 pm
Friday 4 pm – 2 am
Saturday 2 pm – 2am
Sunday 2 pm – 10 pm
