Located at 2107 N Henderson Ave, this is the third opening for the bar brand which has locations in Austin and Houston.

Wonder Bar Dallas took over the former home of Jack & Ginger’s, an Irish pub that opened in 2020, and is below 77 Degrees, a second-story rooftop bar that opened in 2019. All three concepts are from Union Venture Group, an Austin-based hospitality company. The group is also behind upscale nightclubs including The Drake, Red Door, Rock Rose and more.

Like its parent locations, the new Dallas late night spot is colorful both inside and out. Gone is the rustic green and gold exterior that adorned the building in its Irish pub days of old. An electric pink has taken over.

Inside, disco balls, an interactive Price is Right wheel, banana swings, a flower wall and other unique installations (some of which were hand-painted by local artists and are just screaming to be posted to the ‘Gram) have replaced the moody dark-wood vibe of Jack & Ginger’s.

Bite-wise, there’s chips and guac, chips and queso, buffalo wings, fried pickles and mini corn dogs. If you’re looking for something a little more filling, there’s beef or chicken tacos, the “Wonderburger” or just a chicken sandwich.

Drinks (which are often served in disco balls and Patrón cups) are priced at $12 and include:

  • Livin’ My Best Life – Patrón Silver, Patrón Citronge Orange, coconut water, lime, raspberry
  • Disco Bull – Bacardi Dragonberry, Red Bull Tropical, watermelon, lime
  • Wonder Water – Patrón Silver, Patrón Citronge Pineapple, Topo Chico, lime, pineapple

Cheers to wonder-filled nights, Dallas!
