Seasons 114 will be a scratch kitchen with a vibrant bar, serving Southern-influenced plates for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Fresh, local ingredients with an expansive wine list will be showcased, and the atmosphere will be modern and vibrant.

It will include an expansive 1,500-square-foot patio so guests can enjoy their meals outdoors and be located next to The Curve Lounge, a bar that will serve seasonal and classic cocktails along with wine and local beers. Inside, the restaurant will seat 90. The patio will seat 36. And the bar will offer seating for 25.

Kinard, a former actor, and model, who most recently helmed the kitchen at Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, will act as Executive Chef for the entire Westin Southlake hotel. She will manage all food served throughout the property, including room service, restaurant, and banquet. Kinard says she takes her inspiration from her late grandmother, who instilled in her a strong passion for serving others.

“Seasons 114 Kitchen is about creating and celebrating a sense of community while preparing incredible food from the heart using honest ingredients,” Kinard said in a statement. “The restaurant was derived from this very meaningful and soulful foundation combined with the desire to create a feeling of home for our guests.”

She described the menu as “elevated modern American fare.” More specifically, the food offered this Fall will include such dishes as chicken with a pumpkin risotto or fried chicken-and-doughnuts instead of waffles.

The Westin Southlake was originally approved by the Southlake City Council in April 2014. It is being developed by SRH Hospitality and managed by Harrell Hospitality Group, both located in the DFW area.

CEO Paul Barham, said, “As a Southlake resident myself since the early 1980s, “I’m proud to be associated with such an upscale facility, and to bring corporate and leisure visitors to this great city. The high-quality facility and services offered by The Westin Southlake represent exactly what Southlake is known for.”

He further praised Kinard, saying, “she brought our vision for the restaurant and lounge to life, in what we know will be a special property in the area.”
