At an April 13th meeting, the City Council of Addison approved a special use permit for the fast casual, Southern-vibed restaurant to expand further. The latest restaurant will join Mendocino Farms in the former Service Merchandise Building at Prestonwood Place Shopping Center located at 5294 Belt Line Road.

Created by Jake and Janie Burkett, The Biscuit Bar’s first location opened in Spring 2018 at The Boardwalk @ Granite Park in Plano, TX. Since then, the restaurant has grown to include four other locations in the DFW area: Deep Ellum, Coppell, North Arlington and the Stockyards in Fort Worth.

Like the locations mentioned above, The Biscuit Bar’s Addison addition will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late nights. The menu will feature savory and sweet biscuit sandwiches made from scratch daily, along with tots, craft cocktails, and locally sourced brews, cold brew coffee or kombucha, all offered on tap.

At that same April 13th meeting, the Addison City Council also approved special use permits for two other new food venues: Oak’d Handcrafted BBQ and Dutch Bros Coffee. More details on those restaurant openings are forthcoming from What Now DFW.
