“It’s actually been a long time in the making. We’ve just been waiting for the perfect spot, so we’re glad that we found it,” she said. Depending on construction, Chicken Salad Chick at 111 South Village Center Dr. in Southlake could open before the end of 2022.

“It’s really fun to have a unique concept that serves 13 flavors of chicken salad. Everyone likes it differently, so it’s really fun. We make it by hand every day, so it’s fresh and delicious,” Meggie Schissler told What Now Dallas.

You can choose from Chicken Salad Chick’s variety of flavors as a scoop or a sandwich. Flavors include the Classic Carol with all white meat shredded chicken, celery, mayo, and a secret seasoning. You could also try savory, fruity and nutty, or a spicy flavor.

The Schisslers own other Chicken Salad Chick locations in Fort Worth, Burleson, Hurst, and Midlothian. They are planning to add a few more in the Greater Fort Worth area.
