All three locations will be classic Salad and Go build outs, each a little over 800 square feet with a drive thru lane, walk-up pickup window, and no dine in. Construction on the new ground up buildings is expected to start in May and June and be completed by July and September. So, the new salad eateries will likely be open before the end of 2022. They will be located at:

  • Frisco – 355 Lebanon Rd
  • McKinney – 4751 S Custer Rd
  • Rockwall – 3068 N Goliad St

The location coming to Frisco will actually be the second planned for the city. What Now Dallas previously reported that Frisco’s first Salad and Go location will open in mid to late 2022 at 7310 Preston Rd.

Founded in 2013 by husband and wife team, Tony and Roushan Christofellis, Salad and Go is not your average drive-thru fast food restaurant. The Arizona-based brand offers fresh, made-to-order, health-conscious items including salads, wraps, soups and drinks for fairly low prices. Customers are given the option to customize their salads with protein such as chicken, tofu, and shrimp. Its menu also features breakfast items including $2.99 burritos and $1 organic cold brew.

“Our mission is to be for everyone, not the few,” CEO Joel Chrisman has stated. “To continually keep prices low or drive them lower, our menu is made to order… [it’s] extremely efficient and affordable and craveable.”

Apart from its fast, healthy, and low-cost dining concept, the brand is also known for its charity donations. Their local restaurants donate fresh salads weekly to various organizations fighting homelessness and hunger throughout North Texas.

“When we say for everyone, we want to make sure that you know in some cases, even if you can’t afford it, that you have access to that same healthy, nutritious food,” Chrisman said.

Salad and Go has been rapidly expanding across North Texas since it opened its first Lone Star State locations in 2021. At the moment, eight locations are open in Carrollton, Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Richardson, and Watauga.

Counting the previously mentioned restaurants coming to Frisco, McKinney and Rockwall, a total of eleven more locations are in the works including a third Fort Worth restaurant, as well as restaurants in Cross Roads, Fairview, Farmers Branch, Grand Prairie, North Richland Hills, and Rowlett.
