It looks like McKinney will gain a new Salad and Go. The new spot for quick-service salads, wraps, and more will be located at 4001 W University Dr. in McKinney, according to a recent project filing.
The filing states that construction on the new, nearly 900-square-foot building could kick off later this year and be complete by early 2024. It will be the second Salad and Go serving the McKinney community. The first opened at 4751 S Custer Rd. in December 2022.
Salad and Go guests can grab a quick chef-curated menu item through the drive-thru. The menu includes a variety of salads such as Thai, Greek, and Buffalo Chicken. Any salad can be made into a wrap. Breakfast burritos, soups, and hand-crafted lemonades are also available.
“Salad and Go is on a mission to make fresh, nutritious food convenient and affordable for ALL,” according to the brand’s website. The chain has been popping up across the state of Texas recently. The Arizona-based Salad and Go has about 80 locations across several states with more in the works.
