Called Crave, the brand is being brought to the area by local couple Dawn and Mordicah Thomas. Exact locations have yet to be announced, but there will be more than one opening as a multi-unit agreement was signed by the franchisees.

“We have been speaking with Dawn and Mordicah for quite some time, they are wonderful people, and we are honored to have them in our Crave family,” Crave corporate said in a statement.

Founded in 2018, Crave offers grilled jumbo hot dogs, brats, and mild and hot sausages. Guests can top their hot dogs anyway they like with over 20 different choices available such as sauerkraut, bacon, and craft beer cheese. Smoked brisket, pulled chicken, and pulled pork are also on the menu and can be ordered on a salad, in a bowl, as a sandwich, as a plate with cornbread and a side, or by the pound.

Sides include baked beans, baked fries, chili, coleslaw, mac n cheese, and tater tots. There’s also desserts like pineapple upside down cake and toffee sticky cake.

A cool feature of the brand is its self-pour beer wall that allows guests to pour a glass of their favorite or even grab a flight and sample four different beers. Some locations offer wine and cocktails on tap, as well.

Design-wise, Crave restaurants sport a modern rustic vibe with a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Many locations include patios where live entertainment and games such as cornhole and Connect 4 can be enjoyed. There’s even ax throwing (termed cr-axing by the brand).

Crave operates restaurant locations and food trucks across the U.S. It currently has two locations open in Texas in Pflugerville and Spring.
