Female-owned and operated by Dallas resident Dawn Sipera, Dog Haus is less than five miles from the University of Texas at Arlington.

To celebrate its reopening, Dog Haus Biergarten Arlington Highlands donated 20% of its proceeds during its Charity Weekend event on June 10 and 11 to the Arlington Professional Fire Fighters Association.

The APF represents the hundreds of firefighters in the city and the goodwill they bring when not answering the daily call of duty. Members of the APF use funds raised throughout the year to deliver coats to students in need during the winter and hand out toys during the holidays as part of its annual APF Christmas Toy Drive.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Dog Haus family and bring the absolute würst sausages and burgers to the absolute best fans around,” said Sipera in a statement. “Families take care of each other, so we invite everyone to join us for some awesome food and awesome festivities on our grand opening weekend and help us help our local firefighters to support our community.”

Dog Haus’ menu features made-to-order hot dogs, sausages and burgers served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls and kick ass breakfast burritos made with 100% all-natural, vegetarian-fed, and hormone- and antibiotic-free meat. Arlington natives can also enjoy hand-dipped corn dogs, fried chicken sandwiches, wings and chicken strips on the menu. With the brand’s mission to sustainably feed all guests, Dog Haus also offers plant-based sausage proteins from Beyond Meat and burger proteins from Impossible Foods.

The full bar offers 24 beers on tap, including local craft brews, and serves Haus Cocktails in the 2,550-square-foot space. Beer options range as light as a lager and as dark as a stout. Haus Cocktails also include the Herby Derby, made with bourbon whiskey, honey, grapefruit and rosemary and Tequila Thyme, made with reposado, orange curaçao, honey, thyme and lemon. Haus Micheladas, wine and frozen cocktails are also available.

On June 19-25, Dog Haus will host Free Haus Dog Week to encourage a visit to the Arlington location with a FREE Haus Dog. Guests can simply text “FREE DOG ARLINGTON” to 833.440.1110 anytime during the week to receive a mobile coupon.
