“We have been busy scouting sites in both Denton and Fort Worth, but our plan is to have our first location open by early 2023,” Sipera told What Now Dallas. The first Dog Haus location for Sipera will most likely open in the Fort Worth area.

Sipera doesn’t have a timeline for her other three locations. “We are always scouting, so we are definitely ready to grow. Definitely look out for more locations on the horizon.”

Sipera has owned multiple businesses and is a previous multi-unit franchisee with a different company. “I believed that I had what it takes to open a Dog Haus, and their culture and values really just aligned with mine. So, it felt right to be part of their expansion journey here in DFW,” Sipera said.

“I first visited Dog Haus on a casual date with my husband, and the food is really good,” Sipera shared. She has a couple of favorite menu items. “My first would be the Chili Idol, which is your classic chili dog,” Sipera said.

Another top contender for Sipera is The Hot Chick, which is a Nashville-style hot chicken with house slaw, pickles, and secret sauce. “I think the cool thing about that one is we also offer it in our plant-based options,” Dog Haus offers a full bar program, and Sipera’s locations will feature biergartens.

“It is such an awesome opportunity for everyone to get to know Dog Haus,” Sipera said. “I’m really excited to be part of the community in the DFW area and really excited to start this journey.”

Dog Haus currently has several locations in the DFW area with other Texas spots in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Dog Haus was founded by longtime friends Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and André Vener, who opened the first Dog Haus in Pasadena, California in 2010.
