Founders and husband-and-wife duo Jeff and Marissa Allen established Cookie Society in 2018. Marissa spent months developing recipes after inspiration struck during a trip to a New York City bakery. “She gave cookies to anyone who would take them, including her husband’s teammates (a retired 8-year NFL veteran), who raved about them in the locker room,” the Cookie Society website stated. The positive feedback helped the couple realize that “they could turn their passion into a business.”

The menu features creations crafted with real butter. The chewy cookies have a tender center surrounded by crispy edges. Some favorite flavors are the classic Chocolate Chip and the Banana Pudding. The gourmet cookie selection also includes Key Lime Pie, Frosted Oatmeal, Salted Caramel, and Peach Cobbler.

Guests can purchase the cookies in-store, have them delivered locally, or shipped nationwide. Cookie Society has two locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex—Frisco and Addison.

A recent project filing lists the new Southlake location at 1161 Southlake Blvd., Ste. 208. Renovations could begin this summer and wrap up in the fall. There’s no official word on when the new Cookie Society will open to the public, but the Park Village website lists the new bakery as “coming soon.”
