An existing 2,021-square-foot restaurant is being renovated to make room for the fast food chicken store. The space was previously home to short-lived Katsu Bar – a Japanese burger and ramen eatery.

The Carrollton opening will be the fifth North Texas location for the brand. The other four Wing Snobs are in Allen, Forney, Frisco and Lewisville. A sixth Texas location is in Katy and a seventh is being planned for Mission with a spring 2022 opening date.

Founded in 2017 by Brian Shunia and Jack Mashini, the fast-growing chicken wing franchise has 10 locations in the state of Michigan; as well as locations in Ohio and Canada. It is looking to expand further across the U.S.

On the menu are boneless and traditional wings that can be ordered in counts from six to 50. Chicken tenders are also available and for those who’re about that veggie lifestyle, Wing Snob also offers cauli-wings. The sauce options are many, ranging from traditional honey BBQ and lemon pepper to fiery hot AF.

Sides include six different flavors of fries, coleslaw, carrots and celery sticks, and sweet cornbread. There’s even dessert – plain, superman, Oreo or strawberry crunch gourmet cheesecake by the slice.
