Since the concept was founded in 2007, White Rhino Coffee has quickly expanded, bringing coffee, food and comfortable community spaces to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. On the heels of opening its 10th location — White Rhino Frisco debuted in September — the company is now preparing to open its 11th store, this time in Garland.
White Rhino Garland opens December 1st at 5325 N President George Bush Highway, Suite 200. To celebrate, the shop is offering free holiday cookies at all locations. So, even if customers are not located near the new Garland store, they can still participate in the occasion. Free cookies will be served all day, while supplies last. And in Garland, the store will also be sampling the full holiday menu throughout the day, so patrons can get a taste of seasonal drinks like the Peppermint Mocha, Holiday Cookie Latte and Caramel Apple Cider, plus snacks including the Sticky Toffee Cake and German Chocolate Whoopie Pie.
The Garland shop is also giving visitors the chance to meet Santa. Mr. Claus himself will be on site from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
White Rhino serves drip coffee, espresso shots, cold brew, lattes, Americanos and cappuccinos, as well as seasonal drinks, iced teas and other specialty items, like matcha lattes and chai. White Rhino’s food menu includes snacks, croissants, cookies and muffins, plus breakfast tacos, avocado toast and a maple-glazed chicken biscuit.
In addition to its coffee shops, White Rhino has its own roastery, so it can source specialty beans straight from farmers and then roast the coffee to its exacting specifications. This lets White Rhino control the quality of beans going into every cup. It also drives the company’s wholesale program, in which White Rhino can offer custom coffees to corporate clients and other businesses.
“When we launched the first White Rhino 16 years ago, we never imagined we’d be welcoming our eleventh location, but here we are and we couldn’t be more pleased to share our concept with Garland,” said company founder Chris Parvin in a statement. “Our goal is always to be good neighbors in each community we operate in, and we’re looking forward to providing a hospitable spot for people to eat, drink and gather.”
White Rhino has been committed to helping the communities in which it operates, and it donates more than $1 million annually, focusing its efforts on children, the homeless and the hungry through giving programs, sponsorships and volunteer days.
