Quick-service coffee brand Dutch Bros Coffee is expected to open a drive-thru in Waxahachie. That’s according to a recent project filing that puts the new build at 1995 N Hwy. 77 in Waxahachie. Construction could kick off this fall and wrap up in May of 2024.

This location would mark the first in Waxahachie for Dutch Bros. The filing states the new, 950-square-foot building would include a drive-thru window and a walk-up service window. No indoor service will be provided to customers.

Dutch Bros first opened as a pushcart in Oregon in 1992 and has been popping up across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in recent years offering its hot and cold coffees to customers around the area. Other menu items include smoothies, teas, and the Dutch Bros Energy Drink in a variety of flavors including Peach or the Shark Attack with blue raspberry, coconut, lime with a pomegranate float.

Some popular items include Dutch Classics–the Golden Eagle, with a vanilla and caramel breve and a caramel drizzle, and the Caramelizer, which is a caramel mocha. Guests can also enjoy these Classics and other flavors blended as a Dutch Freeze. Muffin tops and granola bars are food options.
