Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina will be located at 950 S. Westgate Way in Wylie, according to a recent project filing. A Wylie Chamber of Commerce Facebook post states the building is near Seventy8 & Westgate apartment homes just across the street from The Home Depot. The nearly 3,500-square-foot space must undergo some finish-out work including the addition of windows, electrical, plumbing, and other renovations, per the filing. A covered pavilion with outdoor seating will be an added benefit for diners.

The brand’s website simply states Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina is coming soon to Wylie, but there is no specific date set to open to diners. The project filing has construction wrapping up in December of 2023, if all goes according to plan.

Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina is one of the Ferah family of brands. Co-founders Chef Burak Ozcan, Jeremy Berlin, and Stephanie Ozcan first opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen, which specializes in Mediterranean and American fusion cuisine, in Garland in 2019. Its second location opened in Southlake in 2022.

“Chef Burak’s dedication to exquisite hospitality and passion for creative cuisine has led to a loyal following of “Ferah Foodies”. Under Chef Burak’s leadership, the Ferah family of brands has received multiple awards,” stated the Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen website.
