The new Omni PGA Frisco Resort will become home to the upscale steak and seafood concept, Trick Rider, which pays homage to famed rodeo trick riders and Texas culture. Trick Rider is set to open at 4341 PGA Parkway in Frisco in late spring 2023.
The restaurant menu will feature premium cuts of in-house dry aged meats, as well as high-end seafood. Trick Rider Executive Chef Joshua Hasho has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and has been part of the Omni team since 2012.
“We are focusing on creating an authentic Texas dining experience through a thoughtful selection of the best cuts of meat available including a grand wagyu beef tasting, an extensive raw bar selection, east coast oysters, select shellfish from Australia, Hawaii and other spots around the globe flown in fresh daily. The curated beverage program complements the food beautifully with luxury wines, distilled spirits and handcrafted cocktails,” said Hasho in a press release.
Design details in the space include stitch leather Texas stars on the back of banquets, art featuring female trick riders, walnut herringbone floors, and cognac leather and fabrics reminiscent of fine liquors. The ceiling above the bar will feature a 16-foot long and 9-foot high, 1,500-pound crystal horse chandelier designed by Jeffrey Beers International.
Trick Rider will be open for dinner only. The space includes seating for 115 in the dining area, 22 at the horseshoe-shaped bar, and a private dining room that can accommodate 15 people.
