Sharma told What Now Dallas this lengthy timeline is the result of the project’s size. Once completed, the location will have transformed from a gas station into a restaurant, gas station and car wash.

This is no small feat, yet a fitting nod to the restaurant’s roots. According to the website, Taqueria Taxco started with three employees in a small Dallas gas station in 2009. It has since grown to bring authentic Mexican dishes to over 20 locations across Texas.

The restaurant’s tagline, “Un Toque De Mexico”, translates to “A Touch of Mexico.” This is exactly what their menu of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas seek to deliver. Learn more about Taqueria Taxco’s expansive menu and locations at www.ttaxco.com.
