On Friday, June 2nd, the Mediterranean restaurant and lounge welcomed guests at 2511 Swiss Avenue in Dallas, next door to the nightclub Citizen.

Lined with bespoke seating and featuring a patio, Saaya has a chic, sultry ambiance that will be an ideal spot for shared plates and innovative cocktails. The menu will be in mezze form – small Mediterranean-style shared plates – and guests will experience authentic items that showcase the region’s savory flavors such as Spicy Feta Dip, marinated Shawarma and Kebabs and Lebanese-style pizzas, also known as Manakeesh. On the lighter side, various salads – including a Greek and Lebanse Caesar – will also be on offer. They will also feature a ‘Saaya Ultimate Feast’ for those seeking a robust culinary tour of the menu.

Cocktails include the Ombra of Anubis with Sombra Mezcal, Ancho Reyes and Ramazatti and Not Your Habibi, a Ketel One vodka-based libation made with St. Germain and Dill Yogurt.

“As we open Saaya, we invite our guests to indulge in an unparalleled experience that blends the exotic and the familiar,” said Milkshake Concepts Co-Founding Partner Asim Sheikh in a statement. “This new restaurant is a playful refuge from the ordinary, merging experiential hospitality and luxurious surroundings for an unforgettable time. We want our guests to come in, lose track of time and find themselves in the ‘now’.”

Designed by 75 Degree Design Studio, Saaya’s 5,400-square-foot interior has rich, colorful fabrics with an expansive patio featuring plush furnishings and rich landscaping. It will host live entertainment, offer karaoke pods available to be booked, and outdoor tableside hookah service, creating the perfect destination for a lively night out or a tranquil getaway.

Once open, Saaya will operate Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Valet parking will be available during all hours of operation.
