The restaurant will occupy suite 100, an existing space with a square footage of 2,900. With an estimated cost of $250,000, renovation work on the location is set to begin in February 2022 and be completed by the end of August, according to the TDLR.

Besides that it is being brought to the area by William Chen, not much else is known about the concept. Chen’s name has been associated with a popular ramen restaurant with a similar name located in Hoboken, New Jersey, but it is not yet clear if it and the forthcoming Frisco concept are connected.

Called just Muteki Ramen, the Hoboken restaurant claims to serve the best tasting ramen and most delicious pork buns.

Ramen is a popular Japanese noodle soup. It consists of Chinese wheat noodles served in a meat or fish-based broth that is often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and then finished with a variety of toppings such as sliced pork, nori, menma, and scallions.
