A new pizza restaurant is set to open this summer in Frisco. Called Halo Pizzeria, the eatery will open at 11220 Panther Creek Pkwy. It will occupy suite 400 of the new retail and office property that is currently under construction at the intersection of Hillcrest and Panther Creek Pkwy.
An exact opening date has not yet been set. According to the owners, it all depends on when the landlord completes the building. “Right now, he believes he will be complete by the end of April which would give us a target opening of late August!” they said in an email to What Now Dallas.
The owners are four guys – Adam, Ugo, Farzad and Julian – who are local to the area and actually live in the neighborhood directly behind the property where they will be opening their pizzeria at. They got the name for it, Halo Pizzeria, from the Halo effect of several large developments that the city of Frisco has been built on such as Stonebriar, PGA, The Star and the new UNT campus.
“We are so passionate about this business venture and that we will be serving our actual neighbors, friends and family,” they said. “That is one of the main reasons we have ‘Food. Family. Community’ in our logo in that this creates a common space for our little slice of Frisco and it becomes a common area for folks to interact no matter where they live.”
The menu will be pretty straight forward. Guests can expect appetizers, salads, New York–style pizza, locally brewed beer, and wine. There will also be a hard seltzer based cocktail menu.
“We will be creative in our offerings so that our customers can get a plain NY style cheese pizza and specialty pies of our own creation,” the owners said.
Halo Pizzeria’s 2,800-square-foot space will seat 50-60 dine-in guests and include another 13 seats at the bar. It will also feature a 1,000-square-foot patio where additional seats will be available. TVs will be located throughout the space for guests to be able to watch sports games while they eat.
“We want our space to be a location that our neighbors, friends and family can walk, ride bikes or drive their golf carts to for a great family lunch/dinner,” the owners said.
