According to the brand’s website, the forthcoming Dallas outpost is coming to 201 Justin Rd, suite 14, in Flower Mound. But per a report in The Cross Timbers Gazette, a Flower Mound town spokesperson said the restaurant will open at 2201 Justin Rd in suite 311. What Now Dallas has reached out to the brand for clarification.

An exact opening date for the restaurant has not been announced, but it is listed as “coming soon” on the brand’s website.

With a mission to raise the standard of fast food, Hummus Republic uses organic and local ingredients whenever possible and offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu items.

A group of friends founded the brand in 2013 out of a desire to bring their families’ authentic Mediterranean cuisine to busy customers on the go. In 2015, they partnered with Global Impact Ventures in order to expand and achieve this goal. Franchise opportunities are now available with the brand.

There are several Hummus Republic locations throughout its home state of California, as well as one or two locations in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

On the menu are wraps, pitas and bowls. Guests can build their own choosing from a base of couscous, seasoned garbanzo beans, kale or spinach. Next, comes hummus and spread options, followed by protein picks which includes Moroccan steak, lemon chicken, falafel and vegan beef. A variety of toppings include pickled red cabbage, beets, cucumbers, chickpea croutons, olives, as well as several vegan and gluten-free dressings.

Sides such as street style sweet potato fries, pita chips and dolmades – that’s vine leave stuffed with basmati rice, herbs and spices – are also offered. When it comes to drinks, there’s lemonades, teas and even a Tahini shake.
