At Jon Smith Subs, each sub is prepared fresh with locally sourced produce and bread that is baked on-site daily. The restaurant serves meat and chicken that is butchered in-house, then marinated in secret recipes.

Kevin and Jennifer Sinker, franchise owners of the new Jon Smith Subs, have lived in Texas for over six years and are looking forward to planting roots in Frisco and giving back to the community. The couple has years of experience in the restaurant industry spanning everything from deli operations, distribution, supply and inventory to food prep, bartending, serving and more. The Sinkers have always wanted to run a business of their own, and when they discovered franchising opportunities with Jon Smith Subs, everything clicked into place.

“We are true sandwich-lovers, so it made sense for us to start our own sub shop,” said Kevin Sinker in a statement. “We’re thrilled to share our passion with the community and use our expertise to provide a fresh, new dining option to the Frisco-area.”

The Steak Bomb, which has been served for over five decades, comes with a heaping portion of marinated sirloin steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes and provolone cheese. Jon Smith Subs offers sandwiches that include the Sinker’s favorite, The Cuban, and other options like The Reuben, Hot Pastrami and The Gator.

The concept continues to grow both nationally and internationally under Indigo Hospitality Group’s ownership, with franchises contracted to open across several regions, including Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Florida, California, Canada and the United Kingdom.

“We’re proud to welcome Kevin and Jennifer into our franchise family,” said Robert Cvetkovski, CEO of Indigo Hospitality Group. “The Jon Smith Subs brand is experiencing strong growth and it’s an honor to help these amazing families and entrepreneurs realize their dreams of owning a restaurant through providing viable franchising opportunities.”

The Sinkers are active in the community with Jennifer serving on the Board of Rebuilding Together North Texas and using her experience as a corporate attorney to volunteer for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.

Available for dine-in, takeout and delivery, the Frisco Jon Smith Subs serves lunch and dinner from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily. The restaurant offers indoor seating for 32 and will soon provide outdoor seating for guests.
