Cookies Crumbs and Crust owner Jill Marks told What Now Dallas they hope to open the Hurst location in mid-June. “It’s getting so busy with retail clients coming in looking for cookies, wanting the gluten-free, wanting the vegan and conventional products, that it’s just time to expand into a storefront,” she said.
The public will be able to stop by the Hurst location during limited morning hours from 7:00-9:30 to pick up freshly-baked products offered in a box by the half-dozen or dozen. “We will feature muffins, vegan gluten-free apple fritters, cookies, scones, cruffins, and other delicious gluten-free, vegan, and conventional baked goods.” Cookies Crumbs and Crust will then begin baking for its national accounts coast to coast.
Guests can also order anything online including signature products and will be able to pick up those items on Friday or Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-noon at the Hurst store. Menu items include the Carolina Cookie, Orange Citrus, Gluten-free Peanut Chocolate Chunk, and Vegan Gluten-free Sweet Potato Donuts. Freshly baked pies, French Macarons, and Honey Whole Wheat Bread are also options.
Cookies Crumbs and Crust uses premium ingredients in their baked goods. They crack fresh eggs and grate their own lemon zest. “We’re always getting the best ingredients that we can for all of the products. We roast the organic sweet potatoes for the sweet potato donuts.”
Jill is excited about opening the Hurst location. “It just seems like the natural progression.”
