Per a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction is set to begin in May 2022 and be completed by October. An estimated construction cost of $1,000,000 is attached to the 950-square foot project which will be built from the ground up. As with other Dutch Bros locations, the new Arlington spot will feature a drive-thru.

Launched in 1992, Dutch Bros has experienced significant growth in recent years, and is currently expanding across the Lone Star State at a rapid pace. At the start of the year, the brand opened its first Texas location in College Station and has been steadily opening locations across the state since then.

“We’re so excited to expand into Texas and what’s really cool is customers are just as stoked as we are,” Aaron Harris, vice president of development at Dutch Bros Coffee, said at the time. “In College Station, we had people camping out the night before! We can’t believe the welcome we’ve received so far.”

The Dallas Morning News reports that upcoming openings are planned for Richardson and Wylie (spring 2022), Garland (summer 2022) and Rockwall (fall 2022). With two Fort Worth locations already in operation, a third is set to open by the end of this year. Locations are also in McKinney, Princeton, and Plano, with many more on the way.

Dutch Bros is hoping to have around 100 locations throughout Texas by 2023.

The brand is known, of course, for its coffee – cold brews, freezes, Americanos – but also offers a variety of other drinks including teas, smoothies, lemonades and sparkling soda water.
