It looks like Dallas will gain a new Firehouse Subs at Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway. That’s according to a recent project filing. Firehouse Subs was founded by firemen back in 1994, and the franchise now has more than 1,200 locations with several dozen of those in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The restaurant offers a variety of sandwiches and salads. Hot specialty sandwiches including the Prime Rib Steak sub, Turkey Bacon Ranch, and the Firehouse Meatball are available for guests to grab a quick bite. Diners can also choose what premium meats, cheese and veggies to add to their sandwich as a build-your-own sub option.

The menu features a variety of salads such as Italian with Grilled Chicken and the Firehouse Salad. Extras of chips, Five Cheese Mac & Cheese, Firehouse Chili, fresh-baked cookies and brownies are also offered.

The nearly 1,600-square-foot space at 5549 Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy., Ste. 150 in Dallas will undergo an interior renovation before opening to the public. Construction is expected to wrap up in late 2023, according to a recent project filing. Franchisee Ryan Franklin, who owns several Firehouse Subs storefronts across DFW, is listed as the tenant for the planned Dallas location.
