Kotsifos is opening Andreas Prime Steaks & Seafood with one location in Waxahachie and one in Allen. The Waxahachie location is at 2001 Corporate Parkway of which the groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 19. It is being built from the ground up. The Allen location is set for 610 W. Bethany Dr., a space that was previously a wings spot called Sauced, and before that a Mexican restaurant.

“When I found that building, I loved that it was convenient to US-75, next to a Starbucks, across from the mall and convention center,” Kotsifos said in a statement to Culture Map Dallas. “We’re giving it a big makeover — we’ve spent a lot of money.”

Both locations are set to open in early 2022.

Kotsifos came to Dallas in 2013 and served as Executive Chef at The Palm Steakhouse until shortly before it closed. In 2018 he moved to Corsicana and took over two sibling restaurants, Across the Street Diner and Across the Street Bistro, with which he saw great success. He’s hoping to see the same with his new concept.

According to Culture Map Dallas, Andreas Steakhouse will be “like a steakhouse with a tapas twist”. The menu will include steaks, chops, and seafood such as steak tartare with pita bread triangles, arugula salad with poached pear, Japanese A5 Wagyu, and American Wagyu rib eye.

Kotsifos is opening the premier steak and seafood restaurants with partners, wife Heather Farmakis, and Andrew Chooljian, a retired mortgage professional.
