CAVA diners can start with a base of greens, grains, or both for a bowl, or they might try a pita option. Dips or spreads include hummus, tzatziki, and Crazy Feta, and then proteins such as grilled chicken, falafel, or spicy lamb meatballs are added. Diners can then select a choice of toppings and dressing before enjoying their meals.

The Mediterranean brand has about three dozen locations across the state of Texas with about half of those operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The newest addition would be located at 305 FM 544, Ste. 901 in Murphy, according to a recent project filing.

The filing states improvements must be done to the 2,100-square-foot space before opening to the public. Work will include some demolition, installation of new kitchen equipment, and improvements to interiors including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. There’s no word on when CAVA in Murphy might open to the public, but construction could wrap up in fall of 2023.
