California-based breakfast and brunch sensation, Broken Yolk Cafe, will open in Mckinney in 2024, the restaurant’s website announced. Franchise owners told Whatn Now Dallas the 4,000 square foot location located at 6651 Alma Road #250, is undergoing $1.4M in renovations that are expected to complete in March of next year.

“Mckinney is a beautiful family-friendly city that has and continues to experience tremendous growth. We’re very excited to participate in its continued prosperity,” Franchise owner, Barry Tu told What Now Dallas. “We have a very fun and vibrant atmosphere with a cravable menu featuring our benedicts, mimosas, bloody marys, fresh juices, and the fluffiest pancakes!
The new location will join 34 Broken Yolk Cafes nationwide and the website says it all started in a local beach community in San Diego, California in 1979. According to the website, “Life Begins After Breakfast at Broken Yolk Cafe.”
Guests enjoy the full-service restaurant’s menu of signature benedict, 12-ounce mimosas, homemade sauces, soups and baked goods. Of all these features, the restaurant’s website calls customer service the most important.
