It looks like a locally-owned bakery specializing in authentic West-African finger foods is getting a brick-and-mortar. Pastry Queens currently caters and ships its savory creations, but according to a recent project filing, the bakery is planning a spot at 6220 Chase Oaks Blvd., #104 in Plano.

The filing states the finish out for the bakery will include plumbing, mill work, electrical, and wall demolition. Construction could wrap up by late November of this year.

Pastry Queens, founded by Adewunmi Adeyemi, first opened in Dallas in November 2011. “We focused solely on catering West-African party-appetizers, popularly known as small-chops, to our community where these small finger foods were lacking,” per the brand’s website. “Our commitment to quality, strict attention to details, creativity, originality, consistency in food preparation as well as catering to the specific needs of our clients in a timely manner, has kept Pastry Queens thriving over the years.”

The menu at Pastry Queens features meat pies with a crispy, flaky crust, sausage rolls, and Scotch eggs. The Puff Puff, a Nigerian snack, and mini cakes are also offered. Guests can order pastry boxes to include a variety of options from the menu.
