The space at 730 W Interstate 30, Ste. 11 in Royse City is 1,400-square-feet and must undergo an interior finish out before opening to the public, according to a project filing. Saldana told What Now Dallas that construction is expected to begin at the end of February and could take at least three months. Saldana anticipates opening the new location in May.
“We feel that the city needs some healthy options. We’re excited to bring the Smoothie King concept to Royse City,” Saldana said. “About 75% of our smoothies do not have any sugar added making it for a really healthy meal replacement option.”
The menu offers a variety of smoothie options including the Feel Energized Blend with many featuring espresso and coffee and the Get Fit Blend, which are blended with protein-rich ingredients that will help recovery. Manage Weight Blends, Be Well Blends, and Enjoy a Treat Blends are also available. Flavors range from a variety of fruits to chocolate and vanilla.
