“It will be a safe, high quality entertainment venue,” he said. “It’s my bar, so I want it to be safe and comfortable place for all ages to relax, enjoy sports and live entertainment, and good food.”

Rex said the menu will be chef-inspired, and visitors can expect a clean atmosphere that celebrates all things comfort and casual.

Aside from serving customers, Rex aims for the bar and grill to reflect all aspects of Fort Worth.

“We are on University Drive, so we will have a very close relationship with TCU. But we want to incorporate everything Fort Worth,” Rex told What Now Dallas. “From the stock show, to the rodeo, to the golf tournaments — we’re bringing in all the local sports and spirits.” Rex said customers can also look forward to craft cocktails, live music, wood-fired pizza and a great outdoor patio.

Rex’s Bar & Grill has yet to establish a digital presence, but Rex said the website social media platforms should be published within the coming weeks.
